On behalf of the SSIs cohort 9, it is my immense pleasure to inform you that the call for applications is open for the “Erasmus Mundus” MSc degree in “Smart Systems Integrated Solutions” 2023. The program is given jointly by the consortium of Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland), University of South-Eastern Norway (Vestfold, Norway), and Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary). The students admitted are taught their first semester in Helsinki, the second semester in Vestfold, and the third semester in Budapest. For the fourth and last semester, the students will choose one of the three institutions for their master project. The MSc in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions covers microsystems and microelectronics, and how to combine these to form integrated systems. The programme is a continuation of the SSI/ SSI+ programmes, where students have graduated since 2015 with high employment success (industrial and PhD positions, in Europe and outside Europe). 
 
 EU grants scholarships to students in Erasmus Mundus programmes, covering tuition fees and living costs. Applications are received from many excellent students, worldwide. The students eligible for applying to this joint MSc are bachelor’s in electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or a closely related discipline.
